Welcome to VSET

VSET (Vishwa Seva Educational Trust) is a nonprofit registered organisation founded in 2003 and based at Kalpetta in the Wayanad District of Kerala State in India. The campus is situated in a sprawling pristine natural setting bountiful in its flora and fauna.

VSET envisages to instill Living Values among the young adults.  Life values are the fundamental core beliefs that guide one’s behaviors and goals – one that facilitates evaluating the overall accomplishments in one’s life. VSET   enables     Values in action, thus propagating the awareness of one’s connect with society and nature, in its journey towards ‘together for a joyful world’.

VSET programs seek to strengthen emotional intelligence in children, prepare them to face life positively, help them connect with society and nature constructively and provide meaning and purpose at the heart of education.

VSET’s Living Values programs emphases human core-values at the impressionable age. They are adapted to implement  values-based  approaches  for  a  better social, emotional, academic and spiritual development of our young ones.

From the time of its inception, VSET has touched the lives of more than 2,00,000 students. The feedback and outcomes have been encouraging and inspiring leading to constant research and updation of the content.

VSET works on a collaborative model with other Non-profits and Educational Institutions. Frequent responses are that students have become more sensitive and responsible and are performing better in academics and non-academics and in their lives. Sustained interactions by the VSET team allow students to think for themselves, understand the role played by society and nature in their lives and decide their own ‘Value coordinates’ for life.

Is VSET a registered organisation?

Yes. VSET is registered as a Charitable Trust with reg no: 26/IV/2003. Further, it is also registered under income tax act,1961, having 12A & 80-G exemptions.

What are the facilities available at VSET?

  • Separate boarding facilities in separate blocks are available for boys and girls.
  • Food for the participants is prepared in a clean and hygienic kitchen.
  • Indoor games such as carroms, chess etc. and outdoor games like badminton and football are provided for recreation of the participants.
  • Well maintained grounds provide space for relaxation and leisure.
  • VSET houses a well-stocked library.

How is security provided at VSET?

  • VSET is reinforced by CCTV cameras placed at strategic locations ensuring safety and protection of the visitors to the camp site.
  • VSET staff will be present at the campus to attend to any needs.

What are the regulations to be followed at VSET?

  • VSET offers its grounds for the participants to experience and appreciate nature.
  • The evenings are dedicated to cultural events.
  • Participants are welcome to showcase their proficiencies and capabilities.
  • Bon fire is not allowed on the premises for security reasons.
  • VSET does not offer a swimming pool as a precautionary measure.
